Rest is what you experience in Maui.
Ease is what you take home.
The first luxury wellness retreat created exclusively for Black women living with MS. Four days at Four Seasons Maui spent in community with 14 other women who understand your life without needing the backstory.
The inaugural EASE Retreat.
September 30th - october 3rd 2027.
15 women only.
We’d love to know a little more about you.
ONLY 15 spots OPEN.

You have been figuring this out alone for long enough.
You are the woman who figures it out, and you always have been. When your body changed, you figured that out too. You learned the language of your disease, found the right neurologist after seeing three who did not listen, and built a life around a diagnosis that most people in your circle will never fully understand.
You show up pulled together and present even on the days when getting there cost you more than anyone around you will ever know.
You sit across from your doctor and describe what is happening in your body with as much precision as you can, and the response you get back is vague, dismissive, and rarely moves you any closer to answers.
You drive home replaying the appointment, wondering if you pushed hard enough, carrying the quiet weight of advocating for yourself inside a system that was not built to listen to you.
And you have been doing all of it largely alone.
Not because you haven't wanted support, but because the kind of support you actually need, the kind that comes from a woman who is living this too and understands it from the inside, has simply not existed in your world until now.

Four days where nobody needs anything from you.
You wake up at the Four Seasons Maui and your only responsibility today is showing up for yourself. There's no appointment to prepare for, no one who needs anything from you, and no alarm set to a schedule that your body did not agree to.
You sit down to a meal that was prepared with your body in mind, at a table with women who already understand the life you are living.
There's no explaining, no qualifying, and no performing wellness for an audience that doesn't get it. There's just ease, the real kind, the kind you have been craving and have not felt in longer than you can remember.
Over four days, you will move through a curated experience that was designed around the realities of your body and your life. You will sit in a sister's circle and say out loud the things you have carried quietly for years.
You will have honest conversations about the parts of this disease that rarely get talked about openly, including intimacy, identity, grief, and joy.
You will learn tools for communicating with your doctors, your family, and yourself in ways that actually move things forward.
You will rest without guilt and laugh with women who understand why the laugh matters.
And you will get dressed for dinner at sunset knowing that for these four days, you're being held completely.

Extend Your EASE
Give yourself one more day before returning to everything waiting for you at home.
Reserve your place at EASE by October 4, 2026, and your stay will include a complimentary fourth night at Four Seasons Resort Maui.
Use the extra day however your body asks you to. Sleep a little longer. Spend the afternoon by the water. Explore more of Maui. Book another spa treatment. Or simply do absolutely nothing.
No additional programming. No expectations. Just one more day to let the experience settle before you go home.

Your place in this room, and exactly how to claim it.
If everything you have read on this page has felt like it was written for you, that's because it was.
The investment for the inaugural EASE Retreat is $15,000, inclusive of everything above.
You can pay in full, or hold your place with a $5,000 deposit once you are invited, with the remaining $10,000 spread across four monthly payments of $2,500.
Every place is paid in full by April 30, 2027.
Women who pay in full receive first choice of accommodations
The EASE experience is identical for every woman. For those who would like an elevated stay, a small number of upgraded ocean suites are available.
The suite changes the view. It does not change the experience, the access, or the care. At EASE, every woman receives everything.
EASE begins with a short introduction because every woman in that room is chosen with intention.
The community itself is part of the experience, and we want to make sure you are in the right room, surrounded by the right women, at exactly the right time.
Every step of joining feels like being welcomed into something, because that is what it is.

A room built for you finally exists.
And every woman in it is chosen.
EASE exists because we have been exactly where you are, and we know that understanding your pain is not enough.
You do not need another person to tell you how hard MS is.
You already know.
What you need is a room full of women who already get it, a team of experts who specialize in your reality, and four days where the only thing you are responsible for is receiving.
EASE is intentionally intimate and capped at 15 women because who you share these four days with matters just as much as what happens during them.
Every woman arrives by personal invitation, beginning with a short introduction, because the room itself is part of the experience, carefully curated so that when you sit down to dinner or walk into your first session, you are surrounded by women whose lives mirror yours, women you will never have to translate yourself for.
As one of the founding 15, you're not just attending the first EASE Retreat. You are shaping what EASE becomes.
Introductions reviewed as they arrive.
Spots are held as women are invited.
Built around your body.
Not a general audience.
EASE was created specifically for Black women living with MS.
Every part of the experience has been considered through that lens, from the pace of the days and the space to rest, to the wellness experiences, conversations and care woven throughout your time in Maui.
You won't have to push through to keep up here.
You'll leave with a personalized wellness plan shaped by what you discover about yourself during EASE, with practical tools and practices you can carry into life at home.

Built by a woman who lives this too.
I am Marti Hines, and I created EASE because I spent years looking for a room like this, and it didn't exist.
In 2018, I woke up, and the left side of my body was paralyzed. What followed was a diagnosis that changed everything about how I move through the world.
And when I went looking for women living with this disease, I could not find anyone who looked like me.
The story of MS was being told without us in it. If you have ever sat in a waiting room, or searched late at night for one face that looks like yours, you know exactly what that silence feels like.
So I spent the next several years building what I could not find. I created Marti's MS Life so that no newly diagnosed woman would search the way I did and come up empty.
I co-founded The H Collective so that Black women with MS are seen, heard, and supported. I made my documentary All In My Head because our invisibility was never acceptable to me, and I partner with the National MS Society to carry that work further.
All of it has been in service of one truth: no Black woman with MS should have to navigate this alone.
EASE is the most personal thing I have ever created, and I created it with you in mind.
It is the retreat I needed and could not find, built with the community, the expertise, and the deep intention your life deserves.
This is the inaugural EASE Retreat, and I can't wait to welcome you into it.

The woman who comes home is not the woman who left.
The intention of EASE is that you walk away with something you may not have felt in a long time: grounded, clear-eyed hope that doesn't depend on a good day or a promising scan result.
You will walk away knowing your body better than you did when you arrived, with a wellness plan shaped to your life and the way this disease moves through it.
You will know what works for you and what does not, and that kind of clarity changes how you move through every day that follows.
You will walk into your next doctor's appointment differently. Not hoping to be heard but expecting it, because you will have practiced advocating for yourself alongside women who have already navigated those same conversations and come out the other side with more confidence and more clarity.
You will have women you can text who simply get it. You will carry less. You will laugh more.
And you will finally understand in your body, not just your mind, that MS doesn't get to make all the rules anymore.
Your diagnosis is not changing. But what it feels like to live with it absolutely will.
Only 15 women will ever be part of the inaugural EASE.

Your questions, answered honestly.
